You Found Your League

Bad Golf League exists for one reason: to make golf what it should have always been — accessible, fun, and built around the people playing it, not the score they post.

This is the community hub. It's where members connect, leagues form, and the only thing that gets competitive is the banter.

Who This Is For

BGL was built with specific people in mind. Not country club members. Not scratch golfers. The people who actually deserve a good round.

Veterans — A place to decompress, connect, and enjoy the outdoors. You gave enough. Come take a few hours back.

Active Duty Service Members — You're still in it. This is your standing invitation. BGL is here when you have a window.

First Responders — You run toward the things everyone else runs away from. The fairway runs the other direction. Come find some peace on it.

Teachers — You pour yourself into other people's kids every day. This time is yours. No lesson plans required.

And honestly? Everyone else too. If you love the game, hate your handicap, and just want to be around good people — you belong here.

The BGL Rules (For Fun)

DO: Laugh at your own bad shots. Cheer for your playing partner's good ones. Fix your divots and ball marks. Show up ready to have a good time. Buy the first round after.

DO NOT: Throw clubs (we are bad, not angry). Give unsolicited swing advice. Take golf too seriously. Brag about your equipment. Complain about the course conditions you're about to destroy anyway.

The Golden Rule of BGL

Nobody cares what you shot. They care that you were there, you were fun to play with, and you respected the course and the people on it. Everything else is just numbers.

Course Partner Access — Members Only

One of the biggest things BGL is building is real access to real courses for people who deserve a great round without the country club price tag.

Through our growing network of course partners, BGL members get access to discounts, twilight green fee rates, and weekday access at select semi-private clubs in the Owasso/Tulsa area — no membership required. Just your BGL membership and a tee time.

Looking for someone to play with? Drop your info in the contact form and tell us your general area, when you like to play, and your approximate skill level (don't lie — we're all bad here). We'll do our best to connect you with other BGL members nearby.

Submit Your Worst Shot

This is our favorite section. Every week we feature a member's absolute worst shot — the shank, the duff, the drive that somehow went backward. Send your worst moment to us via the contact page with the subject line "Worst Shot of the Week" and a short description. No video required. No judgment rendered. Just solidarity.

Winners (losers?) get a BGL shoutout on social and the eternal respect of everyone who's been there.
